Staff Background

The combined management teams of Coldwell-Wilcox Technologies and Cast-Fab include employees who have decades of experience in all aspects of the sale, design and manufacture of products for the water control and sewage treatment industries.

James E. Bushman, Chairman of Coldwell-Wilcox Technologies, also serves as Chairman/CEO of Cast-Fab Technologies, Inc. and Chairman/CEO of Security Systems Equipment Corporation, a manufacturer of fabricated security equipment. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a BBA in Accounting in 1967, he was a partner in a major accounting firm, and also served as Executive Vice President of Carlisle Enterprises, Inc. prior to joining Cast-Fab in 1988. He is active in various professional and civic organizations and serves on the boards of several private and public companies in the Cincinnati area.

Ross Bushman is President of Coldwell-Wilcox Technologies. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Production and Operations Management from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio), he received his MBA from the University of Cincinnati. He is also the President of Cast-Fab and has managerial experience in both sales and production. He has also worked in the construction products area as a plant manager prior to joining Cast-Fab.

Tom Caldwell, Director of Sales & Marketing for Cast-Fab and Coldwell-Wilcox, has over 40 years of combined experience in sales, manufacturing engineering and manufacturing assembly within the foundry and fabrication operations of Cast-Fab (formerly Cincinnati Milacron). He attended Central State University and the University of Cincinnati. Tom has served on the Board of Directors of The American Foundry Society’s (AFS) Southwestern Ohio Chapter since 1989, and in 2000 received an AFS Service Citation Award. He is trustee-at-large of the Foundry Educational Foundation, and also served as a Director of the Cast Metals Institute. Tom currently serves on the Industrial Advisory Board of the University of Cincinnati OCAS campus for the Mechanical Engineering Technology department.

Dave Shelton, Applications/Fabrication Engineer for Cast-Fab and Coldwell-Wilcox, studied industrial technology at Morehead State University and has taught Advanced Mechanical Drawing, Tool Design and Layout at Northern Kentucky University. Dave has over 20 years experience in the design and fabrication of manufactured metal products and assemblies. He has 6 years experience in the design and fabrication of wastewater process equipment with two of the six years in the processing and fabrication of Coldwell-Wilcox products.

Dutt Jones, Applications/Fabrication Engineer for Coldwell-Wilcox Technologies, attended Northern Kentucky University and the University of Cincinnati. Dutt has over 18 years of experience in mechanical design and fabrications. Prior to joining CWT, he served as the supervisor of Structural Design for the Mechanical Engineering Department of a local elevator equipment manufacturer.

Gary Powers, Director of Operations for Cast-Fab Technologies, Inc., attended Cincinnati Technical College, and recently completed the University of Cincinnati Executive Program. He has worked in the fabrication and machining industry for over 8 years. His experience includes engineering and design, and manufacturing management. In addition, Gary is responsible for the training and implementation of "lean manufacturing" to fab, machining and foundry personnel, including the 5-S technique and the elimination of waste in our processes to be the best total solution for our customers.

Don Thatcher, Sales Administrator for Cast-Fab and Coldwell-Wilcox, has over 27 years of experience in both fabrication and foundry manufacturing. During his career, Don has held positions in production planning, shipping and receiving, and is involved in all aspects of sales and marketing as a customer service representative.
